Die Miniatur zeigt ein Porträt im Brustbild eines unbekannten Herren in Uniform mit Epauletten vor neutralem, dunklem Hintergrund. Kopf und Körper sind leicht nach rechts gewandt.

Erworben 1927 aus dem Nachlass von Otto Andreas Textor (1839-1916).

Vorderseite nicht bezeichnet / Rückseitig auf der Kupferplatte Aufkleber, gedruckt: "MUSEO DEL PAESAGGIO / PALLANZA", ergänzt, handschriftlich in blauer Tinte: "unbekannter Offizier"

Aus dem Besitz der Familie von Johann Wolfgang Textor , Frankfurt a. M., und über vier Generationen vererbt an Otto Andreas Textor , Pallanza (Lago Maggiore, Italien). | 1916 bis 1927 als Depositum im Museo Civico, Pallanza.
