Description

Das gerahmte Gemälde zeigt das Grabmal der Maria Johanna Nepomuka von Gastheimb (6.11.1744-2.1.1814) am Rande eines felsigen Bachlaufs, umgeben von Trauerweide, Zypressen, einen weißem Rosenstock. Am Fuß des Grabmals, das einen urnenförmigem Aufsatz und ein Inschriftenfeld besitzt, blühen Vergißmeinnicht und Veilchen, am Grabmal rankt Efeu. Im Sockel: "Ein Denkmal / Dauernder / als Erz und Marmor / hat sich / die Edle selbst / errichtet / in / dem Herzen ihres / ewig dankbaren / Ziehsohn's / Ignatz Schneider".
