Description

Epitaph bzw. Gedenkbild für einen verstorbenen Säugling. Dargestellt ist, wie er von einem Engel in den Himmel geleitet wird. Der Säugling trägt eine bestickte Haube und ist in ein ebensolches Tuch gewickelt, das von einem rosa Band gehalten wird. Dorthinein ist ein Spruchband stilisiert mit der Inschrift: "Friderica Sophia Ridererin/Nata d. 27. Febr. Dena: d. 21. Marty 1765"; auf der Rückseite ein Stempel v. Ernst Knoll, Restaurator in Marburg und der Aufkleber: "Gemälde restauriert: Mai 1978".
