Bleistiftstudie nach Raffaels Porträt Papst Leos X. In der Mitte sitzt Papst Leo X. in päpstlichem Ornat auf einem verzierten Stuhl an seinem Schreibtisch, in der rechten Hand eine Lupe. Vor ihm auf dem mit einem Tuch bedeckten Schreibtisch liegt ein aufgeschlagener großformatiger Codex, daneben liegt eine Glocke. Rechts und links neben dem Papst stehen zwei Kardinäle. Das Gemälde wurde 1799 aus dem Palazzo Pitti geraubt und ins Musée Napoléon nach Paris verbracht, wo es in der 1801 eröffneten "Grossen Galerie" hing, vgl. Steinmann 1917, S. 12.
